Account & Data Deletion

Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Teliyadu Ride account and the personal data associated with it, what is removed, and the limited records we are legally required to retain.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

The fastest way is from within the Teliyadu Ride app (client or driver):

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Request deletion through our contact form

If you can no longer sign in, send us a request through our contact form and we will process it on your behalf:

Open the contact form

Choose “Delete my account” as the subject and include the name and phone number or email on the account so we can verify your identity. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted we permanently remove the information that identifies you, including your:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Home address and emergency-contact details
  • Profile photo and any uploaded documents (e.g. driver license, insurance)
  • Login credentials and saved sessions

Once deleted, you can no longer sign in, and this action cannot be undone.

What we are required to retain

Teliyadu Ride provides non-emergency medical transportation, so certain trip, billing, and consent records are treated as medical records. U.S. federal law (HIPAA, 45 CFR §164.316(b)(2)) and payer requirements require us to keep these for a minimum of six years.

We retain those records in de-identified form — stripped of the personal information listed above so they can no longer be tied back to you — and we securely destroy them once the required retention period ends.
